Celtics @ Spurs Tonight!

Tonight we will see the Celtics take on the Spurs! In an earlier post I mentioned my doubts about winning this one but the news of Jermaine O'neals attending tonight made me believe we have a very good chance.

The last time Jermaine O'neal played was January the 22nd. Probably this will be an exhausting game for him but the most important thing for him will be to not injure himself right away like what happened to Perkins. Only nine games till the playoffs and we need all the big men we can have. The other O'neal is still not healthy enough to play, he has been on the status 'ready in a week' for quite some time now and wont be playing the upcoming three games as it seems now.

I will be posting some good streams I come across later.

LET'S GO CELTICS!

Rondo's Performance

Rajon Rondo is having a rough patch since the trade deadline, where he played some of the worst basketball of his career. What's bothering him? Is it the Perkins trade? Or maybe he is just tired? Can it be his pinkie injury? Who knows? All i know is that the last game against the Indiana Pacers, we saw glimpse of the rajon rondo show again.

Rondo was putting up 22 points, dishing out 8 assists and last but not least an impressive 9-for-13 from the field. Despite Rondo's perfromance, the Celtics could'nt stop the Pacers in what turned out to be a 100-107 loss. The good news, chicago lost aswell and  that means Boston is 2 games behind in the race for first place.

It's all about 31(st of march)

Recent losses by Boston make worry if we will make it to the finals or even conference finals this year. Last year the Celtics struggled in the end of the regular season as well but, this year we do not have Perkins and both Jermaine and Shaq have been injured for quite some time. Krstic doesn't look like the type of center the Celtics need(strong body on defense, offensive rebounds). Luckily jermaine O'Neal rejoined the team yesterday in Indiana and said he would be able to play this thursday versus the Spurs. However Doc said that there is a chance that he will play but he doubts it.

The Celtics next game will be on thursday against the San Antonio Spurs, a great opportunity to boost the confidence of this struggling team!
